Frequently Asked Questions
At Global Evolutionary Alliance, we believe that making correct information easily accessible to people can help curb the confusion surrounding cannabidiol and cannabis. We believe that seeing the big picture will motivate you to join us on this important mission. That is why in this section, we answer the some of the most frequently asked questions so that you may clearly understand what this is and what this is not.
Q.Do your CBD products contain marijuana?
Ans: NO. We want to be very clear that CBD does NOT contain marijuana. Cannabidiol is a compound that is found in the cannabis plant. It supports the function of the endocannabinoid system. Please see our research section for more information.
Q. Will I get the “stoner effect” upon consumption since CBD is found within the cannabis plant?
Ans. No. You cannot get “high” on CBD. In fact, CBD has been shown to neutralize the psychotropic effects of THC, which is the illegal and intoxicating compound of the cannabis plant. This is great news for the users because they can get the medicinal benefits of the plant without any of the negative effects.
Q. How does CBD differ from THC?
Cannabidiol or CBD is the second most abundant cannabinoid, second to tetrahydrocannabinol or THC. While separated from THC, CBD causes no psychotropic effects. This means that you cannot get “high” from CBD alone. As such, CBD is safe to consume.
On the other hand, THC is the compound responsible for the psychotropic effects of cannabis. In most states and federally, it is illegal. It also causes the euphoric effects. Nevertheless, research also reveals several health benefits of THC despite its undesirable effects for some people.
Q. Is your product line legal in all 50 states?
Ans. Yes. Our product line is legal. It is considered a nutritional supplement. CBD rich hemp oil is categorized under whole foods, and has no psychotropic effects.
Q. Will I test positive on a drug test if I take your products?
There is only a single nine panel drug test that our product MAY affect. It is a test that high level government officials take, and it searches the body for all types of cannabinoids including CBD. However in most cases, this is a not the kind of test administered. You will have to consume 64 ounces of highly concentrated oil all at once prior to being tested in order to even show trace amounts of cannabinoids or THC. In short, while we cannot make any guarantees, you are not likely to test positive.
Q. Are your products organic?
Ans. Yes. We know the importance of giving the consumers the best, and we resolve to make products that are completely non-toxic. We are pleased to report that all of our products are 100% organic and non-GMO.
Q. How do you extract CBD from the cannabis plant?
Ans. This is a very good question! Our company has developed a patented extraction technology that allows us to infuse a variety of delivery methods in the any concentration level that we want.
Q. Is it not illegal to grow cannabis for this purpose here in the United States?
Ans. We respect the laws of our great country, and that is why we do not grow it here for the purpose of CBD extraction. We import the CBD from our organic farms abroad, which is legal and compliant. However, the laws of our country are rapidly changing and hemp can now be farmed in a few selected states. Our goal is to support our homeland and eventually get all of our hemp based products right here at home.
